Familia Casinera, este año CMV con Ritmo cumple 5 años de trayectoria, queremos celebrar en grande compartiendo con toda la Comunidad Salsera en nuestro 1er evento Salsa Casino Mayan Congress 2010 del 16 al 19 de Septiembre en Cancun, Q. Roo Mexico.
Gracias a todos nuestros alumnos y amigos que nos han hecho crecer dia con dia, que han confiado en nosotros y nos han permitido fortalecer y promover la Salsa Cubana y Rueda de Casino en Mexico.

As we begin to prepare for the upcoming Salsa Rueda Festival in San Francisco in February, we will be finalizing our performance team members for the upcoming months and for the Festival.
We are looking for committed, Intermediate to Advanced Rueda de Casino dancers with an interest in Performing for the community and your peers. Please be familiar with the Beginning and Intermediate moves from our curriculum.
All interested dancers should contact Nick or Serena by November 15th. After that we will no longer be accepting new dancers until after February of 2010
For over 14 years, Nick was a martial arts and movement instructor. Partner dancing and salsa were a natural progression. For the past 8 years, Nick has been teaching Salsa and in particular, Cuban style Salsa, bringing to it his existing concepts of connection, balance, and fluidity. Nick combines decades of Cuban tradition with modern movement concepts of space, timing, and flow. Presently, he teaches club-style Salsa, Rueda de Casino, cha cha cha, son, and several martial arts. Nick has trained and taught all over the U.S., including extended periods in Miami, New York, and Austin. He has also taught in Hawaii, all over California, and on Cruises.
