Weekly Schedule For April 2009

Sunday: Salsa Rueda with Nick and Salsa Vale Todo at The Beat in Berkeley: 2560 9th st. (cross street is Dwight) 7-8 pm Beg/Int Salsa and Salsa Rueda, 8-9pm Int/Adv Salsa Rueda. Multiple circles and instructors.

Monday: Salsa Rueda with Nick and Serena at Shoebox Studios in S.F.: 855 Folsom St. Suite 112. 6:30-7:30pm: Multi-Level Salsa Rueda and open work.

Tuesday: Salsa Rueda Workshop Series with Nick and Serena at Isabelle’s Studio in Emeryville: 6007 Christie Ave. (Behind FedEx Kinkos facing 59th), 7-8pm:Group A and B, 8-9pm: Group C,D and sometimes E, see www.bayareasalsarueda.com for the curriculum. New Series starts the first Tuesday of the month (that means the 7th of April).  $40 for one workshop/$60 for two, drop-in: $12 and $17

Wednesday: Salsa Casino and a little Salsa Rueda at Duniya Dance in San Francisco with Nick and Serena. Right next to Little Baobob. 3380 19th St/Mission. 9-10pm, $10 - Salsa Suelta (open work), Casino Salsa and Rueda de Casino. Dancing afterwards right next door with Anejo Productions spinning the best Timba Salsa.

Friday: Team SVT practices. Amazing new group forming specializing in unrehearsed Ruedas. Think you have what it takes?  Ask Nick or Serena about joining.

Private Lesson: Private Lessons are a great way to get started, improve and refine your dance.  Nick and Serena offer one hour private lessons for $70 and packages of 5 for only $300.  See Here for more info.

Excitement grows for the first ever SF/Bay Area Salsa Rueda Festival. We are now only 40 days from the big event. Performance groups are training hard, our staff is organizing like crazy and our DJ’s and bands are picking out the best Timba tracks for your dancing enjoyment.

Casino (Cuban) club style Salsa dancing.

We focus on one on one partnering skills for crowded small clubs (the best kind).

Beginning and experienced Salsa dancers will learn from this curriculum. Rueda dancers of all levels will greatly benefit from this class. Take your dancing to the next level with Club style dancing tips and skills and not endless lists of moves. (not that I don’t like lists : ))
